Renewed partnership with Japan National football team
September 27, 2023
Toyo Tires has been supporting the Japan National Football Team, also known as “Samurai Blue”, since 2021. This sponsorship was renewed this year. To celebrate the renewed partnership, Toyo Tires now released a TV commercial called "Blue, passionate, run".
The title shows that Toyo Tires has more in common with the Japan National Football Team than the colour blue. Because just as the athletes of the Japan National Football Team tirelessly strive and courageously challenge themselves, Toyo Tires also strives to surprise and inspire with courage and boldness.
This is also the reason why Toyo Tires brought together all the fans and supporters of the Samurai Blue in the television programme "Toyo Tires presents BLUE SUPPORTERS" to support the Japan National Football Team at the World Cup in Qatar and share their enthusiasm for the sport. In this move, Toyo Tires not only equipped the team bus with tyres, but also presented live streams on YouTube that accompanied the Japan National Football Team on their way to the World Cup. In addition, the Japanese national football team was supported by advertising, for example in underground stations or on inner-city LED walls in Tokyo and Osaka.
The new TV spot fits seamlessly into the support campaign and, like the previous spot, will not only be shown in the subways but also on television. The next World Cup will take place in Canada in 2026. Enough time for Toyo Tires to accompany the Japan National football team with ideas that go beyond the ordinary and share the enthusiasm for the sport.
