First race, first podium for our racing team in 2023!
March 21, 2023
On Saturday, March 18, the season started for our team Ring Racing at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife.
The first race in the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie was a success for Toyo Tires. The team was able to take 3rd place in the class SP10 (GT4 cars) in the new season 2023.
The number of starters in the class SP10 increased compared to last year. In the first race, nine cars fought for the class win. In the beginning our drivers dropped to 7th place in the class. The drivers and pit crew worked flawlessly and the tires worked effectively, allowing the drivers Michael Tischner, Andreas Gülden und Heiko Tönges to work their way up to third at the end of the race.
The fastest lap time of 8:43:405 minutes was on par with the other top teams in the SP10 class.
As the start for the new season, the first race was a success. We anticipate, that in the next races, Ring Racing will be even more successful and, can build on the victories achieved in the 2022 season.
